Game designer

Hello! I'm Gonzalo Bourdieu. I have worked on different  kind of projects primarily as a GAME DESIGNER, I have contributions as a COMBAT,UI and TECHNICAL aspect of the projects i worked with, so I enjoy every part of the development while trying to help in any way I can. 
I am currently working as a QA Tester for Virtuos France, and has worked on the remaster for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.


The main thing that keeps me in game development is challenging myself to learn and create new and interactive environments with people who share the same passion, for people who want to feel the same passion as I do when I play games.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

QA TESTER 

  • Created coherent testcases to find issues in daily modifications.

  • Contributed to the development of new game features and implementation of them.

  • Communicated with scrum teams to give feedback .

  • Created smoke tests that were used daily by internal and external QA teams.

  • Developed and executed in-engine testing.

  • Recollected performance data and presented it in a way that developers could use them.

  • Regressed bugs and found new ones on each given build. 

  • Added bugs to a JIRA data base with concrete steps to reproduce for developers to fix.

  • Created and implemented the debuff system when completing a level

  • Designed different level bricks to add variety to each block.

  • Balanced the 3Cs for better gameplay and feeling.

  • Created the levels blocks for added randomness.

  • Implemented debuffs effects to match the choice of the player.

  • Worked on finding interesting attack patterns and special abilities to add to the distance archetype.

  • Designed different level bricks that add variety.

  • Balanced the cards to Find a balance between teams

  • Worked on the game’s translation for English and Spanish.

 LEVEL DESIGNER 

  • Created the levels block out before adding them to the game.

  • Established the size of the level for faster and better gameplay.
